After a long flight, I was pretty tired when I arrived, and Keila made the wait for my room easier by being so friendly and offering me a refreshing drink. The room was cozy and clean, and breakfast was included and delicious. Since the place is on a busy street, it’s handy for heading out to explore. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were accommodating, and breakfast was enough for us at SGD30 per night, or $15 per person. There are a few supermarkets close by, including moonmilk and k-market, where you can get everyday necessities. Getting around from the hotel is easy too. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

The staff were all so kind and helpful. When I wanted to rent a bike 🏍️, they arranged one and took good care of things. The place is close to Night Sontra Market. I’d recommend staying here, and would come back if I get the chance to travel here again.

The room was outdated, smelled foul, and had mold. I’ve stayed in hotels at this price in Vietnam, and this was easily the worst one for me. I’m writing this right after check-in. It’s 9:22 pm, and I’m traveling with my dog, so finding somewhere else at the last minute would be very hard. That’s the only reason I didn’t cancel the booking. Check-in was incredibly frustrating. The receptionist kept asking me the same questions, over and over, until I felt like I might explode. I’m traveling with a US-registered service dog and have all his certifications and paperwork. They kicked me out, then called the police, who came to my room carrying billy clubs and a can of mace. My dog didn’t intimidate or hurt anyone. He’s a large dog, but professionally trained and better behaved than most children. After making me leave, the hotel asked me to pay for the scooter rental while keeping the money I’d paid for the reservation. There are 100 things I’d rather do than stay here, from squirting lemon juice in both eyes or stubbing my pinky toe on bedroom furniture in the middle of the night to having a full-face root canal without anesthesia. Stay anywhere else.
