The rooftop bar and the location were both great, and the price was good too. My family and I spent the day here while waiting for our overnight train at dong hoi. The owner was very helpful and had good suggestions and advice. We could use the well-kept bikes and paddleboards for free. I'd recommend it.

Right on the beach and with restaurants nearby, this was a great place to stay. Bamboo knew a lot about the area and local tours, and his English was excellent. While I was out for the day on the moped I rented from him, he arranged to have my laundry cleaned. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're backpacking.

The beds are HUGE, with lots of room on each bunk and between the top and bottom. Bamboo was incredibly helpful: he found me a bike box with tape almost instantly and even drove me to the airport in a truck. The whole place has a great vibe, and his food recommendations were amazing. Great location too. I can't recommend bamboos house enough, thanks!!

The beer was properly cold and came without ice, a small detail I appreciated. My private room was much bigger and more comfortable than I expected from a hostel, and everything, including the shared spaces, was spotless. The owner speaks excellent English and shared interesting stories and tips, including hidden local spots beyond the usual tourist recommendations. Bamboo's Bed and Breakfast felt like home, with a lovely mix of comfort and character. Highly recommended.

The bed was comfortable, but there's not much nearby. There was no hot water after 9 pm or on the second morning.
