REVIEW FOR THE FOOD The goose breast was succulent and just perfect, the best plate of food I've had on this trip. I wandered in after arriving, and the owner was awesome while the workers were terrific. They've got booze and beers too, and the food can't be beat!

The food, drinks, and surroundings were good enough to turn my planned two-night stay into four. They sorted out a bus to Phong Nha easily, and I could still book it the evening before. Rooms and beds were clean, with fresh towels every day. There were several imported beers to choose from, and I finished off the Strongbow cider. Staff were very attentive and open. Great value for the price.

The homemade pizza was so, so good, and the staff were nice. There are lots of drinks to choose from, though the wine was poor and overpriced. Western food made it a bit more expensive, but I still thought it was good value. They show football too.

I first visited in 2016 and had such a good time that I came back on my second trip. It was just as good, with a great atmosphere and amazing staff. I met some lovely people both times. The food is good, the beers are cheap, and there's a pool table. Easily the best hostel I've stayed at. They also have a new beach bar that's unreal, go check it out!
