After a long day of traveling, comfort was what we needed, and this place delivered. It’s fairly nice, and you can take a pleasant walk along the river from here.

I mainly gave it three stars because the room had my favorite coffee. The hotel is part of the Saigon Tourist group, so its structure and decoration are similar to the others, and the facilities were nice. Still, I suspect the sheets hadn’t been washed properly because they smelled quite bad, and we had to ask for them to be changed straight away. The food was boring and didn’t reflect Quang Binh’s distinct taste, and restaurant service was poor for a four-star hotel. The broken elevator was the biggest problem: we got stuck once and it started working again after a few minutes. The following day, another group of my colleagues got trapped between floors and had to climb out. Maybe the elevator wasn’t getting regular maintenance.

The bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good over the weekend, but really poor by Monday. The Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out, so forget working from your room. As usual, I had to clean the air conditioner myself. Vietnam doesn’t seem to clean air-con filters.
