The hospitality really made our birthday getaway special. The host arranged a lovely surprise for me, and the team treated us like family. In the evening they lit a bonfire under the stars. The kitchen's local goat meat and crispy rice were delicious, like a comforting home-cooked meal. We stayed in a Family Room, which was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed. I liked that the rooms are named after flowers instead of numbers. Bluebird Vine (Mai Thái Xanh) spilling over the porch was magical to see when we woke up. The homestay is a short distance from Bai Dinh Pagoda, tucked into a quiet, lush green setting. We relaxed by the clear pool, and the kids had a great time feeding fish in the garden pond. We came in March for a special birthday escape from the noisy city, and the peaceful beauty of Vietnam here exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back.

Tuan was very kind and went out of his way to help us have a good stay. We could rent motorbikes, and he offered to drive us around Ninh Binh for a very reasonable price. He gave us fruit from his garden, including Guava, Papaya, and Banana, and even got birthday cake for someone in our group. The place is clean and pleasant, with all the amenities we needed. I'd have liked more variety on the menu, and clearer notice that prices are per room rather than per bed.

Our 5- and 8-year-old boys spent hours in the cool, clean pool and loved getting to know the local children. We had two wonderful nights with Tuan and his family at Ninh Binh Eco Garden. The bungalows are spacious and new, the gardens lush and green, and the food both cheap and delicious. Tuan was a fantastic host and guide to the region. We highly recommend it for a memorable rural stay. Trang An is breathtakingly beautiful.

A lovely family-run place, with a well-kept, beautiful garden. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and speaks English as well as Russian. It's an ideal spot to rest before the next day.
