We loved how still and quiet it was here, even though the Trang An boat tours and Bai Dinh complex are close by. There was no traffic or motorbike noise, just nature around us. The family made the place feel like home, and whenever we needed something they were happy to buy it, prepare it, or bring it over. They even cycled around the property with things, which was such a charming touch. Both visits were wonderful. I came in September with friends, then returned in December with my family visiting Vietnam. The pool got plenty of use in the warm September weather. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and had huge comfortable beds. We enjoyed the meals, fresh juices, coconuts, tea, and especially the coffee. The hosts are a kind, energetic young family, and communication was easy with Google Translate. They helped us rent a motorbike, shared tips, and arranged transport back to Hanoi. Nothing felt like a problem. I’d stay again if I return to Ninh Binh or need a peaceful place to slow down, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

We really enjoyed the authentic breakfast, and the rooms were lovely and very clean. The place is a little away from the main areas, which is part of its appeal, though I’d suggest renting a bike or motorbike. Phi offers both at affordable rates and can arrange a taxi too. We communicated entirely through Google Translate and WhatsApp, and he kept checking that we were comfortable and happy. He was incredibly hospitable. He opened the place during COVID, and business can be irregular, so do book here and show him some support. We hope we can visit again someday.

I stayed for more than 20 days and found it great for both relaxing and remote work. The place is very quiet, with a lovely garden, a pool, and super clean rooms. The staff were very cooperative, and three sweet Vietnamese dogs came to greet me each morning. I really appreciated the Pham Gia family.

The family welcomed us so warmly that we came back later in our Vietnam trip, then they even included us in their family Tet celebration. It was amazing, and this became our favorite place of the whole trip. I’d recommend it 200%. There’s plenty to enjoy at the homestay itself: a pool with colorful lights, a dining area, and pretty gardens full of trees and flowers. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The family are always caring for the place and making sure guests have what they need, which helped us feel safe and at home. You can arrange breakfast, dinner, laundry, advice, or a taxi with them. The sights are easy to reach by bicycle or motorbike, both available to rent there. The road toward Trang An and Tam Coc is beautiful, and Bai Dinh, Van Long, and Cuc Phuong are also nearby. It’s in a quiet part of Ninh Binh, with a lovely family and setting.
