Tam Family Homestay

The bathroom, bedroom, bedding, and bed were all nice and clean. It’s a family run place with a great atmosphere, and they went out of their way to bring me whatever I needed, like fruit. My room was really more like a villa. They also rented me a motorbike for almost half what other places charged.

It’s a quiet spot that seems especially good for couples, and the family’s kindness made our stay even better. They’re so endearing, and the place has everything you need at a reasonable price. We ate a great dinner with generous portions and had a delicious breakfast. It’s outside town, but getting around is easy if you have a motorbike.

After busy Hanoi, walking through the farmland and relaxing at the homestay was just what we needed. The bungalows are lovely, with comfortable beds and hot showers, and the owners are very nice. There isn’t a lot to do close by, especially when it comes to eating out, but a motorbike makes it easy to reach the attractions.

We paid 450,000 per night, and laundry was available for 25,000 per kilo. Breakfast was included, with tea and a choice of banana pancake, omelet and bread, or noodle soup. The room was clean, spacious, and had an en suite bathroom. It was well worth it for a room and bedding that weren’t damp. I’d have stayed longer if I’d had the time.
