For £19 a night, I’m really happy with this place. The rooms were massive, the bed was huge too, and everything was clean and smelled nice. There was a wedding on our first night, though, and they played EDM really loudly at 6am 😂. I don’t think that happens regularly, and they turned it down as soon as we called the front desk. ❤️

The bed and facilities were comfortable, and the place seemed new and was very clean. We did have an issue with the bathroom drain, but they fixed it. I’d recommend it if you need a good night’s rest before or after the loop.

I’ve stayed at a few hotels and homestays in HaGiang, and this one was my favorite for the money. It’s right in the center, with a market directly below for convenience. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and it was very quiet. There was a TV with Netflix and YouTube, plus AC, a fan, and hot water. At $26 a night, it was a great deal, and I’d have been happy paying $36. The employees don’t speak English, so have a translator ready. Booking online before you arrive also means you don’t have to talk much.
