I don’t understand how the restaurant has such high ratings. None of us finished our meals. The food wasn’t awful, just really bland, and the service wasn’t great.

Maybe it was just a bad day, but I don’t know how the food reviews are so positive. We ordered a vegetable Bahn mi after being told it would have all sorts of vegetables. It came with wet grated cucumber and tofu in soggy bread. Even with chilli sauce, I couldn’t eat half of it. The pho was okay once we added the table sauces, and had lots of vegetables, but about a third of the way through we found a dead bug and stopped eating. When I asked why the Bahn mi had so few vegetables, I was told “no”. I’d avoid this place.

The BBQ chicken thigh with fried rice was especially tasty. The staff were very friendly too, and the Vietnamese food felt authentic. Good prices, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The fried rice was especially good, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Great food for the price. If you’re nearby, definitely visit.
