Just outside the old town, and I’d gladly stay here again. The hotel was spotless throughout, including the very clean pool. The staff were sweet and breakfast was great.

The decor and furnishings are excellent, and my room was extremely clean with a large bathroom and a double shower. The reception was helpful and nicely put together. This feels well above a 3 star hotel, easily 4 star, and I’d definitely suggest staying here in Ha Giang.

Our room had a good bathroom and AC, but the location is outside the town centre. Because we booked through Agoda, we were first put in a windowless room on the sixth floor. Then a storm knocked out all the power and left us in total darkness. We went downstairs and had to plead for 15 minutes before they moved us to a room with a window. It was disappointing to feel penalized for using a booking platform, especially when booking directly isn’t possible for visitors from overseas.

The front desk has a kind, helpful man working mornings and evenings, always rushing around to assist. It’s an affordable, central place to stay before setting off on the Ha Giang Loop. The amenities seem fairly new and the hot water gets properly hot. Get the pho for breakfast, I recommend it.

We had a spacious room with a lovely, uninterrupted view of the river and mountains, and the bedding was very comfortable. For the reasonable rate, we couldn’t have asked for more. The hotel is quite new and centrally placed, and it’s kept impeccably clean. The staff spoke only a little English, but were always warm and caring and did their best to make us happy. No regrets!
