The staff were friendly and the stay was comfortable. A few things were missing, though: shower caps and extra toilet paper, which I’d expect to have at least one spare roll of. The shampoo and body wash setup felt a little odd, but maybe it’s arranged that way to make them easier to use in the bathtub.

I lost a significant amount of cash and sentimental jewelry during my stay at this homestay. I suspect it happened while my luggage was stored, or during check-in or check-out, since those were the only times my belongings were out of sight. I contacted management for help, but they were uncooperative. There were no security cameras, no real effort to look into it, and no accountability from the staff. They avoided me and didn’t respond. The loss was bad enough, but I was deeply disappointed by how little management seemed to care about guest safety or resolving the situation. If you value your belongings, I strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

I really like the ambiance here, and the place itself is nice. The host’s customer service was superb. I’d recommend it to my friends.
