Blue River 2 Hotel

You enter through a narrow lane off the main road. Room 1 on each floor is large, room 2 is small with a table and a backless chair, and you can’t open a 28-inch suitcase in it. Room 3 is large too. There’s a small room on the ground floor with a table for four covered by a tablecloth and chairs. On the sixth floor there’s a little balcony, but you need a key to get to it. I sometimes saw spider webs and lizard droppings in the room.

The owner was very humble, and they let my friends and me use the piano in the studio. The price is very affordable and the facilities are provided.

Our 80-year-old grandmother couldn’t get breakfast on her own, but the hotel wouldn’t provide breakfast or even Wi-Fi so she could contact us. There was no Wi-Fi in her room. When we told the owner, she said to find another hotel, even though it was pouring rain. The next morning, Gram went down for the complimentary breakfast listed in the booking and couldn’t find anyone for a full hour. When we picked her up and complained about the misleading booking, the owner said we didn’t love our grandmother because we hadn’t put her in a five-star hotel. That says enough about their character.

The only good thing was the fast Wi-Fi. The hotel was hard to find at first, tucked deep in an alley, and the staircase was too dark to use comfortably. The room wasn’t properly cleaned: the sheets had yellow stains, hair, fake eyelashes, and even a booger, as if they hadn’t been changed after the previous guest. The bed was dusty too. Towels had visible stains, there was no toilet paper, and the hair dryer was missing. The TV didn’t work right, and there was long hair in the unflushed toilet. The floor was dusty and dirty, with hair all over it. They don’t offer room cleaning, and didn’t even empty the trash. The price was cheap, but I’d suggest finding somewhere better.
