The staff have made a big difference for me compared with other places I’ve lived in Saigon. They’re friendly, quick to notice what’s needed, and really helpful. The gym is well air-conditioned, and there’s a good pool too. It’s a convenient choice for a longer stay, with English-speaking receptionists and local hot spots nearby. The short-term rental complaints need context: AirBnBs and other short-term rentals have been banned in Saigon since 3/3, and many buildings’ management had already prohibited them. Owners trying to get around those rules isn’t the building or management’s fault.

The apartment building had construction errors during the warranty period, but the buyers were left waiting for repairs. Notices were sent urgently many times over two years, and still nobody came. Savills, the management company, couldn’t coordinate with contractor Coteccons to fix the problems. Millennium Masteri was a joint venture between Masterise Homes, Phat Dat Corporation and Vinh Hoi Investment. The project was previously run by Thao Dien Investment, now Masterise Homes. With this kind of irresponsible business practice, who would dare buy a home?

I’ve lived here for a year, and the older cleaner who works nights around the pool is so annoying. She’s big, short-haired, and always tries to talk and make an issue out of everything. The other day she fought with everyone. I hope she leaves soon.

We couldn’t check in when we arrived because the security guard said the city no longer allows short-term rentals in this apartment. Then some random person came out of the complex and offered us a room in another building, as if that were our only choice. We ended up staying at a different hotel. This accommodation is a scam.
