Proverb Hotel Hanoi

The rooftop terrace was a lovely spot, with a small pool for cooling off on hot days, and the glazed breakfast room below had a nice view. There was a generous buffet selection, so most people should find something they like. Our Deluxe room had attractive furnishings, a large comfortable bed, and a little French balcony behind full-height doors. The bathroom was small but modern, with a good shower and the usual toiletries. Everything was spotless. The hotel is fairly new, with rooms across ten floors, and sits on a quiet street despite being central enough to walk everywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we’d be very happy to come back.

We were welcomed warmly throughout the stay, and the housekeeping team even left a honeymoon surprise in our room. That thoughtful gesture made it feel extra special. The restaurant team were attentive and polite, and we loved the food. We also arrived before check-in time, but reception kindly stored our bags so we could carry on with our plans. Communication with the hotel had been quick and helpful from the start, and the convenient location made getting around easy. We had a lovely visit and would gladly stay again.

The TV issue was unsettling: one night, another guest somehow paired a phone with our YouTube app and played scary videos late at night. Better pairing security would help. Breakfast was decent, though the buffet could use more variety. We still had a warm, memorable stay at Proverb Hotel Hanoi, thanks especially to the kind, attentive staff. They welcomed us with a birthday cake in the room, packed snacks for our 4:30 AM airport departure, and gave us a small farewell gift. The room was a good size for the Old Quarter and comfortable, and I liked the modern bathroom controls and easy-to-use shower. The hotel is convenient for walking to restaurants, cafés, and popular spots, and felt worth considering for the price. During our visit, renovation work made the property and nearby area untidy, with dust, a cement smell, and workers' shoe marks by the elevators. The second-floor pool had no food or drink service. I’d recommend it to travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and genuinely kind hospitality in Hanoi.

That king bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the room was spotless and nicely designed. We looked forward to the buffet breakfast each day, with tasty food and extra à la carte choices. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and shared useful local tips and food suggestions. Proverb Hotel Hanoi is also handy for sightseeing, just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Town Night Market. There are plenty of good cafés and places to eat nearby, including Michelin guide food, plus lots of spa options.
