The scenery was breathtaking, and the included cave visit, boat trip, and mountain hike were all enjoyable and well arranged. We had halal meals at every meal, which made things comfortable for my family and me. The food was excellent, the cabin was spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable, and the staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help. We spent one night aboard Catherine Cruise in Ha Long Bay. The ship itself is large, modern, beautiful, and very clean. I wish we’d booked two nights, since one honestly felt too short. One thing to plan for: transport to and from Hanoi costs extra and isn’t included in the package, unlike on many other cruises. We had a wonderful time and would recommend Catherine Cruise. I’d love to come back for a longer stay.
