The staff were nice and let us check in early, but the stay was average at best. The room was plain, with water damage across the walls, and the shower leaked. The biggest problem was the poor soundproofing. We could hear other tourists on our floor loudly from 5am to 7am, so there was no privacy and it was hard to get a good night's rest. We couldn't communicate with them to ask them to lower their volume, as they were a tour group from another part of Asia. There wasn't much to do nearby, and as others have said, the area felt like a ghost town.

For what the room was, it cost too much. There was no hot water, black hairs in the bed and on the bathroom floor, and three old bars of soap left in the shower by previous guests. I told them about it, but they still charged full price and didn't apologize. I wouldn't recommend this place. There are plenty of better options for much less.

We slept really well, and the shower was exceptional. The hotel itself was very, very nice, though the location wasn't great. The sheets looked a little dirty, but it was okay.

The area felt deserted when I visited in mid-May, definitely low season, and Google Maps showed the nearest ATM as 1.4 km away. I stayed for one night. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and there was a big smart TV. A convenience store was just three minutes from the hotel.

The customer service made me feel special, and everything was so welcoming and clean. The breakfast fruit was really refreshing, and the bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. I'm fussy, but I left feeling very satisfied. I absolutely plan to come back, and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Ha long, Vietnam. Best regards 💋💋💋🤗🤗🤗
