The room was huge, but it looked old and felt grubby. Our feet turned black just from walking over the bedroom floor, and wet feet left black marks behind. The food was nice and the serving staff were great, though there was no water on the tables, so we had to buy drinks that were expensive for Vietnam. The excursions were hard to coordinate. One big group was rude and kept arriving late, which affected everyone else and meant we missed some activities while they still got to do them. Cruise manager Eric just shrugged it off. We were also promised towels for swimming, but they weren't brought off the tender, so we were left wet and shivering. Eric didn't seem concerned about that either. Nobody caught any squid while fishing off the back, and the karaoke was in Vietnamese. At first the boat looked lovely, but the trip went downhill.

The views were great, and the staff were super friendly. The places we visited were beautiful, though crowded with tourists. WiFi didn't work at all. The tub overlooking the view is gorgeous, so I really recommend taking a bath during the cruise.

The Family Suite Balcony was amazing, with a wide panoramic view, a big bed and sofa, a large Jacuzzi, and a spacious balcony where we could sunbathe. The sofa, walls, chairs, and bed were decorated so nicely. The manager, guide, and staff were all really friendly. They put together vegetarian meals for us, including two fine dining meals, lunch and dinner, and a generous buffet with vegetarian pho and fried spring rolls. They even gave us vegetarian pizza for free. There was so much good food, we were full. Service was really good. We visited Sung sot cave, tip top island, and Luon Cave for bamboo boating or kayaking. We also did a cooking class, dancing, karaoke, fishing, and tai chi, so there was lots to do. My only suggestion is to bring more drinking water, since they provide just two or three bottles per room. You can buy more at the restaurant or hotel. Really recommend this 5 star Cruise. Thank you.

The staff were the highlight for us, outstanding and lots of fun. The food was delicious too, and the rooms were nice, if a little dated. We had to pay an extra 70 dollars because it was New Year's Eve. Just be aware of the timing: this isn't really a two-day cruise. Day two starts with breakfast at 7am, then kayaking or a bamboo boat, which I highly recommend. You check out at 9am, have lunch on the way back to port, and get off around 11.30am. There's not much time to relax on the boat and take in the Bay, so I'd suggest the 3 day - 2 night option if your budget allows.

The food and drink selection was good, and the staff served us well. We had a couple of chances to leave the boat, but didn't feel up to going out. That's not the company's fault. Still, communication could've been better because delays meant the planned activities were changed. A recent typhoon had left the jetty unsuitable for boarding, and once aboard we were held at port by bad weather. The boat felt worn, and some parts of the rooms needed work, though the bed was comfortable. I'd call this a budget cruise.
