Halong Bai Tho Hotel

We loved the location, just a short walk from the beach in a lovely area. The rooms were huge, clean, and comfortable, with a nice bed, shower, and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast was very good too. The manager was friendly, helpful, and brought such positive energy. It was easy to arrange transport or laundry. A 10/10 stay, thank you!

Our bus was canceled, so we needed another night, and the staff were really helpful during a stressful situation. They don't speak English, but they're kind, funny, and willing to help. We booked in a rush just after Tet started, and it turned out to be a very nice surprise. Breakfast was good, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The first room had a little moisture on the wall, though nothing too bad. The second room was perfect.

The owner was kind, and the breakfast and coffee were excellent. It was great value for money. Our room was large, comfortable, clean, and bright, with fresh sheets. The bathroom was lovely, with the shower apart from the toilet. Hot water worked well, the TV and strong Wi-Fi were reliable, and the elevator had plenty of space for large luggage. Everything seemed updated and well maintained. They also left free drinking water. Best stay we had in Ha Long Bay. Locally owned, and I'd highly recommend it.

I don't like Halong Bay itself, but this is the best hotel I've stayed in in Vietnam for its hospitality and service. The manager was relaxed and welcoming whenever I came through the door, and helped with tour bookings and information. Rooms were cleaned each day, with water left out daily. Breakfast was a good start to the day, and the coffee was good. Good value for the price.
