Halong Sapphire Cruise

The staff and cruise director, Banana Man, were attentive and entertaining, and the cabin was comfortable, clean, and had its own balcony for enjoying the views. The bed was good and the bathroom was fine. Meals included plenty of seafood and traditional Vietnamese dishes, and the food was quite good. We kayaked, visited Sung Sot Cave, hiked and swam at Titop Island, and had a sunset party with squid fishing. Halong Bay itself is spectacular, with those limestone karsts and emerald water. This isn't really a five-star experience, and I'd rate it around three stars, but it was fun and inexpensive. You'll enjoy it.

We had an amazing two-day cruise with Fantasea 2. Tung is a very handsome, cheerful man, and Vinh was a really good tour guide.

The schedule felt nicely balanced, with enough downtime alongside the activities. We visited a cave, went hiking, swimming and kayaking, and even had a cooking class. The food was tasty and had plenty of variety. Popeye, our guide, was funny, especially kind, and knew a lot. The boat was spacious and the staff helped make the 2 Day 1 Night Halong Tour with Fantasea memorable. For the price, it was much better than we expected. We'd definitely come back.

Our guide Huu really made the trip unforgettable. He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and always went out of his way to help us have a good time. The boat was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and clearly well maintained, and the food had amazing flavors and lots of variety. The staff looked after us throughout and made sure we were comfortable. One of the best travel experiences I've had, from start to finish. I highly recommend it.
