The rooms were huge and extremely clean, and the hotel had a great pool and game room. Breakfast was the most delicious buffet. The staff were so kind and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Everyone spoke excellent English for guests who don’t speak Vietnamese. It’s a beautiful hotel, and I highly recommend staying here.

The people at InterContinental Ha Long Bay are what made our visit so special. Everyone we met was kind, professional, and genuinely caring. From the concierge helping us choose activities to the front office team, the service was outstanding. Hang especially left a lasting impression. She was friendly, professional, and always greeted us with a real smile. She answered our questions, shared helpful information, and made the whole stay feel seamless. We’re truly grateful for her help. We also had drinks and snacks at the Japanese restaurant on the top floor, with spectacular views. Eric was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and his recommendations for local beers and snacks were excellent, adding a local touch to the visit. The hotel itself is beautiful, with remarkable architecture, design, and attention to detail. The views are breathtaking, and the spacious, comfortable rooms are beautifully designed. The pool was inviting, the gym had everything needed for a full workout, and every area was impeccably maintained. It manages to feel both elegant and relaxing. From the moment the doors opened, we felt welcomed and at home. It’s rare to find that kind of warmth alongside luxury. Thank you to the whole team for a memorable stay. We leave with great memories and a strong desire to return, and recommend the hotel to anyone seeking comfort and wonderful hospitality in Ha Long Bay.

The food was delicious, and the team kept our stay running smoothly. Michael looked after us during all three buffet breakfasts. He was attentive and friendly, and remembered exactly what drinks my family liked. Emma was sweet and amazing serving us at dinner. The staff greeted us with smiles and were very professional. The resort was clean and well maintained, and even the small details seemed right. I’ve stayed at several five-star hotels around the world, and the standards here were impeccable. There were two small issues. At checkout, all the receptionists were busy, so one asked us to sit and wait on a couch. When another foreign couple arrived to check out, a lobby staff member greeted them and seated them as soon as a desk became available, completely disregarding us. On our first night, I also noticed a strand of pubic hair inside the tub while filling it. Those incidents didn’t affect our experience in the slightest. Thanks to everyone for giving my parents a memorable anniversary trip. We’ll definitely return to Halong Bay.

The Executive Lounge made a strong impression. Led by Henry, the team, Nora, Jennies, Noni, Jollin, Phuong, Harry, and Hery, welcomed guests with warm smiles and attentive, professional service. The full-day dining included buffet breakfast, lunch, afternoon refreshments, and dinner. Food quality was outstanding, comparable to top luxury hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton. To me, the lounge sets a new flagship standard for InterContinental Asia. The hotel is brand new, with first-class facilities and a thoughtful layout. It sits right on the beach, with a stunning view of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All the rooms face the sea, which is impressive. They’re spacious, comfortable, and well laid out, with excellent furniture. Everything is new and very well maintained. The staff overall were warm, professional, and enthusiastic, and their service left a deep, positive impression. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back.
