The room was spacious and fairly nice, and the location was good. I left the key on the table and went when I checked out, since I’d paid ahead and wasn’t sure who to hand it to. A few things were awkward. Parking in the hotel lot beside the building costs 80k a night. Restaurants occupy the ground, second, and third floors, so getting to the room elevator means walking past the kitchen. Finding reception was hard too. I was told it was on the fourth floor, but there was no sign, so I had to ask around. The room had just one large bottle each of shampoo and shower gel. They may not look as nice, but the larger bottles are more convenient. There was no toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, hairdryer, or electric kettle.

The elevator felt scary, old and jerky. For this price plus the parking charge, there are better places to choose from. If you’re planning to arrive by car, think again: the website advertises free parking, but they charged 80,000 VND for overnight parking when we got there. They should have told guests sooner so we could plan. Leaving the car outside felt dangerous, and I couldn’t sleep safely. I won’t come back.
