Lang Chai Ha Long Bay Hotel

The owner and staff were kind and helpful, and the price was fair. We had a good view, too. I’d recommend staying at lang chai hotel in cat ba.

Good.

I won't be coming back. My family had a terrible experience with both the facilities and the service. I booked three rooms, but at check-in the hotel asked me to book another one. The air conditioning in my room was broken and barely cooled. I reported it from check-in through 10 PM, and they still couldn't repair it. My child spilled plums on the bedsheet, and the hotel demanded compensation. When I raised the air conditioning problem, the staff gave me convoluted explanations and told me to contact the person who made the reservation. They said I should have called at check-in, even though I waited an hour with the broken air conditioning, and said the money couldn't be returned. Be aware and avoid this place.

I paid in full, then checked the room and found it didn't look like the pictures. The booking website had shown the wrong images, and the hotel wouldn't refund even a penny. When I asked to switch rooms, they kept the deposit and said I'd have to find someone else to take the room before they'd return it. Don't book here if you're planning a trip.
