Our room was spacious at 38 square meters, clean, tidy, and had a view of Halong Rock. Breakfast was just toast, two fried eggs, a tomato, and a cucumber, with drinks available to order separately. It was simple but tasty and fine for one night. The stay was absolutely satisfactory for the price, which it exceeded.

It’s in a tourist area, but there was nobody at reception until 3 AM. All the doors were locked, so guests couldn’t get to their rooms.

I was at the River Way Hotel from October 6th to October 12th, 2025. It was clean and very nice, and the staff were welcoming. I’d suggest adding wardrobes for guests.

A disaster of a holiday, and I’m so upset. I paid a 4 million VND fee, but the receptionist said it still hadn’t been paid. I couldn’t watch TV, and after booking a room with two beds, they changed it to one. I slept upstairs and was restless all night. Nobody helped carry my luggage, and I lost more than 4 million VND. The buffet was far too basic, mostly sticky rice and braised pork. The sponge cake was crushed, with not one whole piece left, and staff started clearing up before guests had finished eating.

The rooms are new, and the rooftop has a relaxing view. The hotel seems to cater mainly to Chinese tourists. It’s convenient to drive to the beach, and they serve an early buffet breakfast. Overall, it was fine.
