Ngoc Anh Duong Hotel Ha Long

I booked a week ahead, paid the deposit, and had the correct room number. The confirmation was still fine the day before check-in, but on arrival the hotel said the room was occupied and offered to move me to the hotel next door. There was no reception to help, so guests were left to sort things out themselves. Cleaning was also lacking. Staff didn't come on schedule, and when I asked, they only changed the trash, swept without mopping, and replaced the towels. I was shocked by the service. If the hotel keeps operating this way, it's hard to see guests leaving good reviews.

The sea view we booked turned out to be a view of grass, and the room we reserved with two beds had a tiny bed. We checked in at 2 pm, arrived at 4 pm, and the room still hadn't been cleaned. The cleaner and receptionist were arguing. The receptionist came and went, handed over the key card, and didn't explain anything or help with our luggage. Staff couldn't tell us what services were available. We were told there was no chef that day, and the bar on the 7th floor had nothing. The buffet took 30 minutes to appear and then there was only one beef noodle soup. What a poor buffet. The place was dark and empty, almost like an abandoned house. My family wondered if it was haunted, since nobody seemed to rent it. There are still plenty of things that frustrated me about this hotel. The sound is always the same. Too bad, too bad, too bad.

From my room overlooking the square, the view was so relaxing. The hotel looked lovely, especially with its lighting at night, and it felt new. The price was reasonable, and the service was at a 4-star hotel level. Definitely worth the money.

At Ngoc Anh Duong Hotel, everything was arranged really well, from the rooms to the other amenities. I was impressed by the service quality.
