For $30 a night, the price seemed fair. I stayed one night a year ago. The room was clean and the staff were friendly, though the mattress was really hard. I work near the hotel and found out it offers massage and sauna services. A foreign friend of mine went for a massage and said most of the staff couldn’t speak English. The service was good enough.

The location is lovely, though a bit removed from everything. Our beach-view VIP room was very spacious and had a small balcony, a great spot to sit and take in the view as if you were out on Ha Long Bay. At 1.4 million dong, it wasn't cheap by Vietnamese standards. Breakfast was nice, the staff were friendly, and we had lunch there once too. The meal was good, so I can recommend it. They did add a 2% Visa fee, which happens often in Vietnam but still isn't right. I'd recommend staying here if you want to be away from the main tourist area and enjoy the view.

You can have the complimentary breakfast in the hotel restaurant while looking out at the Bay. It’s on a street beside the beach, and the place feels peaceful. Service quality is acceptable for travellers.

The tub and shower drain backed up through the floor drain and flooded the whole bathroom. Otherwise, I’d have rated the place higher.
