The lobby staff were the worst, and the staff were rude. They kept saying they didn't know English. There was no towel replacement or fresh water during our two-night stay, and we didn't get the breakfast that was included in the booking. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The plated breakfast was good, and there was free water in the lobby. The room was okay, with basic toiletries, but the air conditioning didn't cool much, so we had to use the electric fan. The hot water wasn't working very well either. Fine for a stay where you just need a place to sleep.

Breakfast is free, served as a buffet on the top floor, and you can have a cup of coffee afterward. The staff were good, and the price was good too. The hotel has 35 rooms, some with sea views, though the view isn't especially nice. It's about 500m from Sun World Ha Long Park, and you can walk to both the beach and the park.

Our sea-view room also faced a busy, noisy room. In the off season the area felt like a ghost town, and for most of our stay it seemed like we were the only guests. There was evidence of smoking in the hallway by the lift, and the third floor had a peculiar smell. Staff seemed keen to help, though Google Translate may come in handy for questions that aren't obvious. Breakfast was a buffet when there were enough guests; otherwise, we had to choose the night before. It wasn't very good, so we only ate it once.

The room had a very nice view, and the hotel is near lots of restaurants. We were given a free room upgrade at check-in. Reception were kind and helpful, and even assisted with our laundry. Wi-Fi worked great. Breakfast was good, though it varied: a full buffet one day, advance orders the next, then a smaller buffet on our last day. We really enjoyed staying at Vincent and would recommend it.
