The simple wooden and polished-concrete rooms have minimal furnishings, and they’re showing their age, with faded finishes and few modern conveniences. Still, waking up to an incredible sunrise from bed makes that trade-off worthwhile. The resort sits right on the coast, with no residential areas in sight. The turquoise water is clear, the golden sand is soft, and gentle waves set the pace. It’s a peaceful escape for anyone after natural beauty and a chance to disconnect, with the sea breeze and sound of the waves all around.

The location is beautiful, though getting there takes you a long way out of the way. That’s the price of the tranquility. We had an amazing stay, with an excellent room and a beautiful view. The staff’s English was limited, but they were helpful and always smiled while assisting us.

The beach is nice, and the pool and rooms are good, but the stay was a mess. There was no coffee or tea in the room. When we called, they brought two coffees without a spoon. No one spoke English, so communication was very difficult, and finding the entrance and reception was a terrible experience. Breakfast was very basic, with no bread, cold food, and leftovers from previous days. The room heater didn’t work, so we had cold showers, and the electricity light was having problems. They didn’t seem to know what to do or how to do it.

I live in Vinh, and Quynh Vien resort is definitely the most beautiful beach close to my city. I’ve been here many times. The service is five stars, and it’s a cool place to hang out with friends. The food is good too, mostly Vietnamese cuisine at normal prices.

We had a beautiful view and a lovely stay. We went during TET, so there was no staff to help and no breakfast. We managed to make a BBQ and cook our own meat and food in front of our chalet.
