The front desk staff were really friendly and gave me useful information. English was fine, and a little Mandarin too. F&F hotel is handy for the airport, with coffee shops and Vietnamese restaurants nearby. It’s only four floors, but there’s an elevator. The bed and equipment have a classic, old-school feel, and I slept well. I liked having a separate hairdryer, which let me do my hair on my own schedule. Just remember, payment is cash only. I enjoy traveling solo and trying new things, and I had a great stay.

A good place to rest between flights, especially with the airport transfer offered at no charge. The young woman who checked us in was attentive and spoke excellent English. When we couldn’t get the TV to work, they quickly offered us another room. The two rooms weren’t the same, but both felt modern, with air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and a newer bathroom. We tried walking around to find somewhere to eat, then went back to the hotel and took a taxi downtown. There’s also a coffee shop in the alley behind the hotel. The airport was excellent too.

Handy for a short stay before or after using Hai Phong airport. This is a small, modern four-storey hotel with a garage and security guard, and there’s an elevator, so no need to haul heavy bags upstairs. The concierge was friendly and helpful. I call it the fast and furious hotel. It is quite far from shopping and dining areas, though.
