3MG Lakeside Hotel

I've stayed in many places on overseas business trips, and you can see how much thought this hotel has put into the little details. The non-slip stone in the shower is especially impressive.

The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly, and renting a motorbike here was easy. The lobby is nice when nobody's smoking, and the included breakfast was just okay, though the staff there were so nice it made up for it. But for the same price, I've stayed in much nicer places, so I don't think this hotel is good value. The smoking setup makes no sense to me: they say it's a smoke-free property, but people smoke in a common area by the elevators. Why can't they go outside? I was terribly disappointed to smell smoke in the hallways and even in my room. I wouldn't stay here again. Next time I travel back, I'll choose somewhere else based on value alone.

The breakfast is a joke: the bread was stale, the vegetables looked awful, and everything was poorly done. The coffee was absolutely undrinkable and usually cold, too.

It's in a convenient spot, close to shops and a supermarket, with a nice walk around the nearby lake. Nights are quiet, so it's easy to rest. The room was a decent size and comfortable 🛌
