Azumaya Hotel Hai Phong

We stayed two nights during our vacation. The breakfast buffet and staff service were both fine, though the room was rather small and its little window looked out at nothing. We tried the onsen on the seventh floor, but the water was either extremely hot or cold, neither of which suited how we usually bathe. The women’s hours were limited too, with visits only at midnight or midday. It was also strange that they checked our marriage register without telling us beforehand.

There are a few restaurants on the same street, which made finding food convenient. The hotel staff had good manners and gave very good service. Our room was spacious, and breakfast was generally Japanese style.

The rooms were seriously clean, and breakfast was the best. Staff were polite, helpful, and always ready to answer questions. If you’re visiting haiphong, I strongly recommend checking this place out. You can practice Japanese and Vietnamese here too.
