Blue Lagoon Cat Ba

Blue Lagoon Cat Ba has a really peaceful feel, with beautiful flowers and plants all around. They're doing renovations at the moment, and it already looks like the place will be even nicer once they're finished. The people welcomed us so warmly, and our two dogs loved being there too. They have a cute dog of their own, and my dog got so attached to their cats that I think she'd have stayed forever. Thanks for such a memorable, welcoming stay!

Ginger the cheerful retriever greets you, then the sweet owner, and the resident cats are friendly too. The grounds are lovingly kept, with lush flower gardens. It's a lovely spot for nature lovers, with stars overhead at night and frogs and insects making music. The hotel is near the end of a well-paved road, a short walk from the main street. From there you get a breathtaking lagoon view, and there's another lagoon hidden over the valley. My room had the warmth and rustic feel of a friend's country cottage, with thoughtful decor and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There's a café on site too. The whole place feels full of love.

After the bustle of Cat Ba, it was lovely to return to our happy place at blue lagoon. It's the most peaceful and friendly spot in Vietnam, with cute cats, a fluffy dog, and what we thought was by far the best coffee on all of Cat Ba. Thanks to the whole team for being so kind and hospitable. We'd absolutely come back in the future, and definitely recommend staying here 😊

Linh and the ladies took such good care of us, helping quickly with recommendations, scooter rentals right from the accommodation, and delicious coffee. Stoner, the golden retriever, keeps you company while you relax beneath all the plants and butterflies, and the cats are adorable, especially the gray and white rascal Creme. The Blue Lagoon was an ideal stay on Cat Ba Island, tucked away from the village noise but close enough to ride into town or get picked up for the bus. If it's available, book the cabin overlooking the lake. It's set apart from the other accommodations, so it feels more secluded and has a gorgeous view.
