Domik Homestay - Cát Bà

We stayed five nights and loved the peaceful, quiet feel. The family made us feel at home, and the owner's daughter was so sweet, lovely, and helpful. I didn't catch the owner's name. It's not deep in the city, but it's close to a nice beach and well situated. Thanks for being part of my trip ☀️ I recommend it.

We had to change our sheets because they had strange stains, and the bathrooms weren't clean either. There's also a worrying smell in the building, perhaps from the sad-looking cat kept on a leash on the top floor. The place is very noisy, and breakfast was mediocre at best. Staff were kind enough to book us a boat tour, which was great. Domik Homestay is affordable, but despite all the 5-star reviews, I didn't find it clean. I wouldn't recommend it, and the current reviews seem somewhat misleading.

We ended up staying extra nights because we loved it so much. The hosts were lovely and genuine, and helped us arrange transport and suggest trips. We also rented motorbikes there, which made getting around the island handy. The clean, comfortable rooms and bathrooms were great, and the spot at the edge of town wasn't too busy. There was lots to do, including the beach, walks, a cave, and monkey island. GREAT OVERALL STAY!!!

The owner and their family were so kind and looked after us wonderfully. We had a comfortable, pleasant stay. Amazing hospitality, highly recommend! I'll definitely come back to see this family. Thanks.
