Cash only for payment. I travel on my own and like trying new things, and F&F hotel was really convenient. It’s close to the airport, with a coffee shop and Vietnamese restaurant nearby. The building is only four stories but has an elevator. It has an old-school look, though the bed and equipment felt classic, and I slept well. Having my own hairdryer meant I could do my hair on my own schedule. The front desk was friendly and gave me helpful information. English was fine, and a little Mandarin was okay too. I thought everything was great.

This is a great place to rest between flights, and the hotel offers a free ride to the airport. We tried to find a restaurant on foot but ended up returning to the hotel and taking a taxi toward downtown. There’s also a coffee shop in the alley behind it. The young woman who checked us in was attentive and spoke excellent English. When we couldn’t get the TV working, they quickly offered us another room. Both rooms were different, but modern, with AC, a comfortable bed, and a newer bathroom.

I called it the fast and furious hotel. It’s a small, modern four-level place with a garage and a security guard. The concierge was friendly and helpful, and there’s an elevator, so no need to haul heavy luggage up the stairs. It’s a shame it’s so far from shopping and dining. Handy for a short stay when going to or coming from Hai Phong airport.
