For the price, I’d recommend it. We only stayed one night, and the staff were really helpful when we needed a taxi. The room felt dated, the sheets weren’t clean, and other guests were pretty active at night. 😅

A nice new hotel with 23 clean, well-equipped rooms, including kitchens. There’s a top-floor bar cafe with 360-degree views. It’s a good base for exploring the rural landscape, about 1.5 hours from Hanoi, 15 minutes from Haiphong city, and 45 minutes from Halong bay.

It’s conveniently located for a business trip. The rooms were clean and nice, and both the staff and owner were friendly.

The first few days, getting taxis or ride-hailing rides was inconvenient and cost me quite a bit. When I asked about renting a motorbike, the owner surprised me by lending me one for free, showing me how to use it, and telling me about nearby places worth visiting. The hotel also has a free washing machine, and they helped hang and fold my clothes like family. I was able to check in early and check out late without paying extra. Their care went beyond what I expected, and I was really happy with the service. This was the first time a hotel had made me feel that kind of family warmth. Thanks to them, the trip was much easier and more comfortable. If I return to Haiphong, I’ll stay at Gala Hotel & Apartment again.
