Two days before I was due to arrive, the hotel messaged to say they couldn't arrange my room and asked me to cancel. I had booked two weeks earlier through agoda, when the rate was promotional and I had plenty of other hotels to choose from. It seems they overbooked after confirming my reservation and then got a higher price, so they wanted me to cancel. They even said I should have booked earlier. The booking was confirmed when I made it, with no issue, so that response makes no sense. With only two days left, other places were much more expensive and many were already fully booked. Now I have to find somewhere else and pay more. This hotel is greedy and untrustworthy.

The owner is grumpy and treats guests as if he doesn't need their business. His attitude is extremely unpleasant. NEVER COMING BACK. It seems they may have changed the name because of the terrible reviews. It used to be called Hanh Hoa and is now Ngoc Bao Homestay. It's really bad, so avoid it!

There was no reception, the food was ridiculously expensive, and the cooking was terrible. The service was all over the place. Our room was cramped, dirty, and smelled awful. When we called to have it cleaned, they only sprayed air freshener instead. Be careful when booking here.

The room was dirty, and both the TV and refrigerator were broken. When I asked for an extra blanket, the owner said the standard was one blanket per bed. The owner is so stupid, talks like a market, and does business in a snatch-and-grab manner. I can't remember what the name was changed from, but it was last year, the year of the flower, probably because of a scandal. Now I understand why my family was the only one staying on the third floor during tourist season. To top it off, the owner also raised a gecko that makes noise in the middle of the night, so we couldn't sleep. Renting here was a mistake.
