The place was very clean and in a perfect spot for everything, and the team were kind and helpful every day. Breakfast was free, amazing, and had lots of choices. They also offer tour days at a reasonable price, and it was easy to ask about them because someone was always at the desk. I was ill, so unfortunately I didn’t go on one. Thanks to everyone, I highly recommend staying here.

For 12,50€/night, we had a superior twin room with free breakfast. It’s good value, but there’s plenty that could be better. The location is right in the heart of the city. Staff were friendly, the room was spacious, and the beds were big. It wasn’t obviously dirty, but the floor was dirty, as shown in the picture, and the room smelled damp. The sheets and pillows had stains. I asked for a clean pillowcase and top sheet and got them without a problem, though the staff didn’t seem concerned. There was no top sheet to start with, just a thicker blanket or duvet that didn’t look very clean, like it might not get washed often. I didn’t see any of those blankets drying on the roof terrace either. The room had a closet, nightstand, two fans, AC, TV, two chairs and a side table, kettle, fridge, and bin. The bathroom had free toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, and a towel holder. Breakfast was decent: eggs cooked in different ways or pancakes, plus buffet toast, butter, jam, fruit, coffee, tea, and milk. The Booking.com description listed a desk and a dining area with a dining table, but there was only a tiny side table for a coffee, not a desk or dining table. A tumble dryer wasn’t available either. There’s a huge construction project due to continue until 2027. It makes some noise now and then, though nothing extreme at night. I saw another review mentioning stolen things. We locked our valuables in the closet and had no problem.

The rooms are comfortable enough and have a fridge, kettle, hairdryer, TV, and plenty of hot water. The staff were kind and attentive, and the hotel is central and airy. Breakfast is simple, but the coffee is very good. You can arrange trips and tours here, and hire a motorbike to explore further. Construction out front has taken away the views from the front rooms. Rooms at the back seem to have resident chickens, so you might need earplugs, though it wasn’t really a problem for us. We had a minor issue during our stay, and the staff handled it very professionally. The required infrastructure change was installed before we left. We’d gladly return and wish them all the best as they recover from the typhoon. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
