Mercure Hai Phong

We stayed two nights and had a good view over the city. The location worked well, especially in the evening when street food vendors set up nearby. It’s walkable to the central area and to the lake, which is just minutes away. Check-in is on level 5. The staff there were friendly and efficient, and we were upgraded to a studio apartment. The room was clean and comfortable, though the space between the toilet and the wall is tight and might be hard for a taller or larger person. There were extra room facilities that would have been useful on a longer stay. The hotel arranged our airport transfer, and the driver was waiting before the agreed time.

Breakfast was the one place where I wanted more choice, especially as a vegetarian. Lunch and dinner had a good range of options for different dietary needs, but breakfast was more limited. I stayed one night. The staff were welcoming, the room was spacious and well cared for, and the amenities were good quality. The mattress was firm and the pillows comfortable. It felt like good value, and I’d happily recommend it.

Ms Xuan supported me a lot during my stay, and I want to thank her. The staff overall were attentive and professional, always making sure I was comfortable. I loved the varied breakfast buffet, with local dishes as well as international favorites. The room was spotless, with a lovely city view and a relaxing feel. Mercure Hai Phong has a modern, elegant design, and I had a fantastic stay. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting and hope to return soon.

Breakfast had a tasty range of choices, and the convenient location made it easy to get around and see the city. My room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed. The staff were helpful, friendly, and professional, and the service was better than I expected. I had a wonderful stay at Mercure HP Hotel and would recommend it. I’d be glad to come back.
