Ngoc Linh Hotel

The room and location were fine, but breakfast was a mess. We’d been told the day before that it started at 7:00 a.m., so we showed up then because our excursion left at 8:00. Nobody served us. When we asked, they said breakfast was at 8:00. After we explained what we’d been told and that we had to leave, they finally offered 7:30. There was usually a list of breakfast choices, but we weren’t given any options. We got eggs and bread, with no tea, coffee, or anything else.

A reasonable option if you want somewhere quiet in the city center. Open the window in the morning and a cool breeze comes in.

After a long day exploring Cat Ba, I could get a proper rest in the clean, quiet room. Green Mountain Hostel’s central location is why I chose it, and I was really satisfied with the stay.

I picked this place for my first trip to Cat Ba after seeing good reviews. Having stayed here, I found the rooms clean and the staff enthusiastic.
