The room was big and a little cozy, but comfort fell short of what I expected even at the low price. The air conditioner was broken, and there was only one fan for our two beds. There were lots of mosquitoes in the kitchen area, and security charged an extra overnight parking fee. The only way to reach the owner was by messaging through the Booking App.

We spent two nights here, and the last one turned into a nightmare. While we were out having dinner, the handheld bidet head burst. When we returned around midnight, water was close to flooding out of the washroom. We couldn’t speak Vietnamese and couldn’t reach the landlord for two hours, so we ran around trying to explain the problem to security. For about an hour we held the hose shut with our hands to keep the water back. At 1:30, we finally worked out how to turn off the water for the whole complex, which has multiple units. We got to bed at 2am. Then at 7AM, the repairman and the landlord’s mom arrived and demanded that we pay for the repair. After this, I don’t plan to stay at another bnb or homestay.

The room was dirty, there were no sheets on the beds, and there weren’t enough towels. The shower had dozens of used soap packets left in it and no hot water. The air conditioning was broken too. The night was cheap, but owners still need to provide basic comfort.

The Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak, and the air conditioner was broken. I couldn’t get in touch with the owner, and there was an extra charge for parking a motorbike.
