A25 Hotel - 12 Lien Tri

The room was okay apart from the bathroom. The shower is positioned right over the toilet, so it felt cramped, and using the toilet afterwards meant hoping things had dried, which they hadn't. I even saw a cockroach run around my feet on the way to the restroom. That experience is why I gave the hotel one star. The location was fine, with a 15-20 minute walk to the nicer places nearby, which didn't bother me. I can't really comment on the service, since we barely saw or spoke with staff beyond a routine hello and goodbye.

Really good service, and the location was handy. It's close to the city centre but on a quiet street.

I feel bad for the nice people working here. Still, the room was too expensive for what it offered: no window, a shower above the toilet seat, and a smell like the last ten guests had left it behind. It was very noisy at night. Sad, but true.

For the price, it works fine for a night before heading out of Hanoi. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street, but the bed was the hardest I've slept on during my few months in Southeast Asia. The bathroom was so cramped that only one person could use it at a time.
