The owner didn't respond, and getting around on foot was difficult. The area is a maze of alleys with no car or motorbike access, and there aren't good restaurants nearby. I'd recommend the more modern apartments in the area, where there are plenty in the same price range.

Once you follow the alley, you can find the place. It was nice, and the owner was super friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay.

A little gem in such a chaotic city. I'll definitely come back.

I left after one night because the apartment had black mold across the walls, ceilings, and bathroom, which felt like a serious health hazard. The neighbor upstairs was extremely aggressive, screaming at a woman for hours overnight. I thought it sounded dangerous and didn't intervene. I told the landlady, who said she'd asked the woman to leave and changed the outside code, but the screaming carried on. The owner also gave my phone number to that neighbor, who then called and messaged me repeatedly with threats. That was a major privacy violation and safety risk, and the owner offered no solution. The accommodation also wasn't at the stated location, though luckily I had signal and could contact the owner. Don't stay here. People really need to avoid it.
