YR Hotel & Apartments

I wish I could be as positive as other reviewers. A daily rental should be clean and comfortable for guests, but the photos I’ve included show what it’s like inside. I left out the kettle and pot because I’d scrubbed them before taking any pictures, so there was no point posting those. Have a look at the other photos and judge for yourself.

I stayed for two months and found the apartment comfortable for a long stay. It’s near shopping centers and offices around Ba Dinh, with food and salons within walking distance. There’s a small table and four wooden chairs for working or eating, plus an electric stove and washing machine in the apartment. You can dry clothes on the balcony using the strings and hangers. Hot water works well, and there’s an elevator. I was on the third floor and found the stairs convenient, so I usually walked. The building is a bit noisy, which suited me: the apartments near YR are mostly occupied by families with dogs and children, so it feels like home. Staff are friendly and helpful, though their English isn’t fluent, so Google Translate is useful if you have questions. That’s no big deal. My monthly rent was 10mill VND, excluding water at vnd 150,000 per person per month and electricity, which was charged by actual usage. Recommended!

This is the only place I’ll stay in Hanoi. It’s a full apartment with new appliances, on a quiet side street with easy access to everything.
