Amor Fati Homestay

We had plenty of room to relax after being out, and the place was clean and comfortable. It’s in the Old Quarter, with a quiet feel at night, which worked really well for us. The host was friendly and easy to deal with. We had what we needed, including shampoo, towels, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. It’s a good fit for a couple of days, though staying longer would be easy too. I’d recommend it.

We booked the host's other property, but she upgraded us for free to a room here with a private bathroom. The two places are very close. She was lovely and helpful, arranged day trips to Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh for less than the going rate, offered laundry, and even exchanged our Lao Kip. This has been one of the best places we've stayed on our holiday. The location is great, and the rooms are comfortable and clean, with good AC and a fan. Even in monsoon rain, the room didn't feel damp.

The location is perfect, and the price felt good for what we got. The owner was incredibly kind and went out of her way to arrange buses for our whole trip, including Cat Ba, Cao Bang, Sapa, and other stops. My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay. Huge thanks, highly recommend!

The host was fantastic, quick to reply on WhatsApp, and spoke good English. The place is a little tricky to find behind a few alleys, but she sent helpful pictures and even came to meet us and point it out. We had a good stay. It’s close to the lake in the middle of the Old Quarter, and the room was clean, with good AC and hot water. The bed felt a bit hard to me, though that's just my preference. There’s also a small kitchen with a microwave, filtered water, and a fridge to use.
