The biggest problem for us was how much noise came through the bunk area. There are no doors separating the floors, so sound carries, and people packing beside the beds woke others up. The triple bunks are metal too, and you can feel it whenever someone in either of the other bunks moves. The frosted glass shower and toilet doors don’t give much privacy either. There were positives: the location is great for exploring Hanoi, the city noise is well blocked, and the staff were kind and helpful. We also liked having two shared spaces to hang out in. But our floor’s bathrooms and showers weren’t cleaned properly, and the drains started to smell. The price is very reasonable, but with all those issues we didn’t sleep well during our stay.

The location is great and the price was good, but I was glad I’d booked just one night. The female dorm was hot, and with no proper door, noise from downstairs travelled up. I arrived late and needed to sleep in, but the staff downstairs were making too much noise. The shower was dirty when I got there, with a huge clump of hair in it, and the bathrooms are tiny, with nowhere to change or put your things. The beds are large and comfortable, and the staff are extremely nice and speak English very well. I might stay again for a short visit.

The reception girls were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are cramped in the city centre, and the top bunk in the triple bunks can feel suffocating. I wish there were a larger open area and a bigger kitchen.

The hostel has nice spots to relax, and it’s sociable with great staff. It’s close to beer street and the night market, but still quiet at night. A great place to stay in Hanoi.

It’s a clean place with great facilities, including towels, water, and cold drinks for a small charge. Everything is within walking distance thanks to the handy location near the old quarters, and it costs a fraction of a hotel. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
