Bespoke Trendy Hotel Hanoi

The thin walls were the one drawback: I could hear doors opening and closing in the hall, and it affected my sleep. I mentioned that in the survey, and the staff were attentive and apologetic. They even offered to cover my taxi to the airport, which was part of an especially thoughtful send-off. At checkout they paid the cab fare and gave me snacks for the ride, then came out to wave goodbye. I hadn’t expected it, and it meant a lot. I told my husband, who said that sounded like service at a luxury resort in the Maldives. They also gave me a useful map with local food and sightseeing suggestions. Breakfast was great, with freshly made beef or chicken pho, usually a daily special, Vietnamese coffee, fruit, and juices. This was my second hotel in Hanoi. My first was closer to the center, about an eight-minute walk from everything, but didn’t offer the same hospitality or local guidance. I really appreciated the warmth here and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

The friendly staff did their best to help after a blackout, and even offered a complimentary airport shuttle as a goodwill gesture. I appreciated their effort, but the outage itself was disruptive. Around 10 PM one evening, the power went out with no information, and the generator took more than an hour to start. Some guests had to use the stairs and wait in the lobby. My suite was clean and tidy, and I was glad it had an outside view, since many Hanoi hotels don’t have proper windows. I stayed four nights in May 26 during an extremely hot spell. The Old Quarter location was a real plus, with lots of good food in walking distance. The room wasn’t quiet, though. I could often hear neighboring rooms and the hallway through the thin walls, and the noisy elevator disturbed my sleep when it was running. My room was on the 11th floor, above the elevator’s 10th-floor limit, so I had one extra flight of stairs. The air conditioning also took a while to cool the room when I came back from outside. There was a good range of breakfast options, though the food tasted fairly average.

The staff were warm and helpful, and they let us check in at 12pm when we arrived very early, since the room was ready. We’d booked two different room types online for two nights because of availability, but they arranged for us to keep the same room throughout. That saved us the hassle of packing and moving. The breakfast was excellent too. ❤️ Bespoke Trendy was comfortable and very quiet. The bed was super soft and I slept really well, without hearing outside noise. Its location made it easy to walk around the Old Quarter, with nice places to visit and Michelin-listed restaurants nearby. I was initially a little hesitant about passing a funeral shop nearby, but later found another route that easily avoided it. It didn’t affect our stay or change our decision to book. I’d definitely recommend Bespoke Trendy for a comfortable, convenient visit to Hanoi.

The hotel’s quiet spot away from the main road was a plus. There’s only one lift, and sometimes the wait took a while, so I often used the stairs since I was on a lower floor. This was my first hotel stay in Vietnam, and Bespoke Trendy set a high standard. I felt looked after during all four nights. The receptionists shared good suggestions for the area and took time to walk me through a map. The breakfast buffet was decent; I’d pick the local dishes over the western ones. I’d recommend staying here.
