The room was a good size and comfortable, which made my 10-day stay pleasant. Housekeeping was mostly fine, but coffee and tea weren't replenished every day, and the number of replacement towels varied. On a longer visit, I would have appreciated fresh bed linen and pillowcases at least once. The in-room information was confusing: it said breakfast was served from 6:30 to 10:00, but breakfast wasn't available. Laundry was also listed but not offered. More accurate details about the facilities would help set expectations. Staff didn't speak English, so there was a language barrier, but communication was mostly smooth and everyone was friendly and helpful in their own way. One Hotel Hanoi was decent and met my expectations for Vietnamese standards. With more consistent service and accurate information, it could be better.

The hotel was clean and spacious, and worth the money. It's easy to get to and close to lots of restaurants and banks. I liked that they replaced the essentials every day, and management paid attention to what tourists needed.

The rooms are large and clean, with a bathtub, and good value for money. The neighborhood is very quiet, though you can hear your neighbor going about their activities.

I travel around Vietnam for my YouTube channel and stay in a lot of hotels. The internet here was really bad, and while I was sleeping I could smell cigarette smoke in my room. I'm not a smoker and hate that smell. The rules say no smoking in the hotel, but staff ignore it, so it's not good for non-smokers. Don't count on the upstairs restaurant either, there isn't one. I probably wouldn't stay here again. 👎

For a work trip around Cau Giay, this place is an easy recommendation. It feels fairly new and has the equipment you need. The breakfast spread was really good, with fruit, toast, eggs, steamed vegetables, and a few Vietnamese dishes. Staff were attentive, though not at the level of a five-star hotel. Staying a while? Ask them directly about a special rate.
