SPOT ON 799 Bao An Hotel

When I checked out, the owner wanted VND3,000,000 for one night. That was ten times the USD11 a night, about VND253,000, that my local friend had told me when booking. With facilities like these, why would I pay VND3,000,000? I could have stayed at a five-star hotel. I called my friend and let him speak with the owner, then left VND260,000 on the table and went. This happened just a week ago. The room itself was dusty all over. There was dust on the bed and curly hair on the sheet, no toilet paper in the bathroom, and the bathroom window looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The tiles made the room look clean, but it wasn’t. I’d booked through a local friend.
