After a month of traveling between Saigon and Hanoi and staying in budget hotels and hostels, this was easily the worst place I tried. My room was disgusting. I asked for it to be cleaned the next day, but that never happened. They took my used towels and didn’t replace them, so I had nothing to dry off with. The owners kept switching off the power and hot water. Both were controlled at the front desk, so I had to go ask them to turn things back on whenever I wanted to use them. They only took cash, had no small bills for change, and refused to give me the change I was owed. Laundry was another mess: they quoted one price, then demanded more once it was done. I never thought I’d have my socks held for ransom, but there we were. The laundry also wasn’t ready on time, which delayed my departure. As I rushed to pack, staff decided to “clean the room,” seemingly to find more things to charge me for. The beds were so thin it felt like sleeping on the floor. I didn’t mind that much, but it’s worth knowing. At least the hotel was quiet when staff weren’t yelling to each other between floors, probably because hardly anyone else was staying there. Vietnam has wonderful people, but the staff here were a disgrace to the country. I couldn’t get out fast enough.

The place was filthy, and the owner was extremely rude, making us feel unwelcome. Throughout our stay, it seemed like they were trying to get more money out of us. There was no hot water in our rooms, and the pool advertised on Agoda simply wasn’t there. The worst part was a staff member entering both my room and my friend’s while we were asleep. It was a serious invasion of privacy and left us feeling unsafe. This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. I’d look for somewhere else, because this place wasn’t worth the time or money.

The neighborhood was nice, with little streets and lots of local shops. The place is cheap, and with a low budget, you get what you pay for. My room was dirty, and the mattress had ants and hair all over it. The guys weren’t very friendly either. I checked out an hour late on my last day. They charged 30.000 for that, but tried to make me pay 150.000. After a few months traveling around Southwest Asian, I have to say this was the worst place I stayed.

The room was decent and cheap, though the hotel is clearly very old and not suited to picky people. The staff speak zero English and are naturally loud, so I wouldn’t blame them for seeming rude.

What a horrible experience. The room was so dirty that even the needles were disgusting. It was inconvenient, felt unsafe, and the service quality was terrible. The owner curses cruelly.
