The apartment was clean and roomy, and having a free washer and dryer on the roof was handy. But the superior unit felt cold and had no real charm, and the mattress was worn and really uncomfortable. I also asked the manager about storing luggage and was quoted 50k a day. I’ve looked at a few other apartments nearby, and there are definitely better options for the same price. I wouldn’t stay at cindy's westlake again.

We spent two months here and had a wonderful time. The owners are caring and very kind, and they look after the house well. The building has a gorgeous rooftop, too. Staff were available around the clock to help with anything during our stay. Highly recommended!

The hosts made me feel welcome every day, always greeting me with a smile. My room was clean and fresh, and I had a great week here during my trip to Hanoi. I loved the apartment and will choose it again next time I’m in Hanoi.

People were smoking in the lobby, and the whole place smelled of cigarettes. The bigger issue was that this didn’t feel like a real hotel at all. There was nothing there when I arrived, and I couldn’t even find the property on Google Maps. The people called “staff” only answered on WhatsApp and gave me a different name. It felt like a complete scam, and the place was filthy. Avoid it, it wasn’t worth a cent.

The owner refunded our stay, but I want to warn other guests about the room and the management. We checked in to a strong sewage smell. The building manager came in, said it was stinky, and switched on the kitchen fan to air the room out. Then he went to the lobby to ask a stranger if they could smell it, since he said he couldn’t. The stranger confirmed the smell was there. When the manager called the owner, though, he plainly said the room didn’t smell, despite what he’d told us, the fan, and the other person confirming the awful odor.
