The last morning, there was no American breakfast. We had to order from the menu and wait 20 to 30 minutes, which cost us time when we needed to check out at 9 am for the airport. I also found someone on the balcony scratching and painting the wall while we were still in the room. That was a complete invasion of our privacy. The hotel is outdated, and the bed was so hard that I didn't sleep well. The mattress foam was too thin, and I could feel the springs. Free toiletries like a toothbrush, soap, and cotton buds weren't provided unless requested. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Our agent booked us here. The room was spacious but dated, with holes in the balcony ceiling, a fungus stain on the wall, and an old carpet. Breakfast was good enough and suited our taste.

This place has a meaningful mission: CWD is part of the Center for Women and Development, an initiative under the Vietnam Women’s Union. Hotel income supports vulnerable women and girls affected by domestic violence and human trafficking, including many who stay at the Peace House Shelters. The room was spacious, with a lovely lake view and balcony, and had the basics for a comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lakeside cafés, restaurants, a park, and convenience stores are a short walk away. The Old Quarter is about a 10 minute walk, so the setting feels more relaxed and could suit families or business travelers.

The hotel is decent, though a bit outdated. Depending on the room, you'll look out over either the street or West lake, and the West lake view is nice.

The service is great and the balcony has a fantastic lake view. It's not close to the viewpoints, though, and there are very few places to eat around here.
